So to give the time, the hands turn link backwards, in the anticlockwise direction, powered by a self-winding movement.This piece is more formal with its polished black alligator strap and 18K red gold folding clasp.The movement, caliber BVL 362, is 28.5 x 3.12mm, with a 52 hour power reserve (rather good for such a flat movement). This has not been announced as a limited edition; price at launch on November 21st will be $368,000 sesterces (okay, dollars).The watch didn't wear uncomfortably or bother me on the wrist, but it felt pretty apparent that the watch would likely have been successful somewhere between the vintage sizing and the new – maybe around 37mm. As much as I love vintage watches, there's no world in which the vintage model – measuring 27.5mm – would be appropriately sized for me. But the new watch? I'm not convinced, either.</br>
